I've got an early Jet 200 with iron stage 4 pist port with 200 gearing, a gp crank (I think) & the piston has been coated with a ceramic crown & teflon skirt. Also running a standard clutch, but that can be changed if really necessary. I have a new phbh 28 with a Marchald filter & i've fitted it with parts loosely based on similar setups (that I checked out in the carb section of this forum) incl - av266, x7, 55 pilot, 122 main, 270 float, 40 slide. Also seen a few with av264 & X13, but need input to help my decision. Scoot will be running panels without holes & a street racer type seat (poor air flow, bad idea ?) I was really after a touring setup, so should have bought the Taff pipe, but hadn't done my homework first before diving in

Just want a good clean all round tune. So, am I on the right track ? Don't really want to stick holes in my SX panels, but will do if the carb needs to breath better. Appreciate any help/ ideas from the learned scooter boffs
