Does anyone know, if Simon (B-Race) will do his exhausts again? His page is out of order for months.
Would be interested in a B-Race Stealth for my Honda205......

havent spoke with him for some time, (he dynoed and jetted my mugello) but I know he was mega busy with other stuff. them pipes are a labour of love.

his pipes are very very good, that one on ebay is only the 2nd one I have ever seen for sale 2nd hand, guess people keep hold of them.
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!

Thanks, but it´s for the oval stub type, not possible to fit them to a Stage4 barrel. It´s even not possible to fit a JL-type stub (a mate of mine got such an exhaust). :(

So he isn´t in the business acutally?

cant you have the jl stub modified or have a stub made ? , I think the b race stub has a cone or tapered fit to the rest of the expansion pipe. should be easy for a fab shop to knock up. it might be just a case of cutting off the flange/gasket face and re welding on a cast cylinder flange

That would be the way to do it, but the Ebay exhaust is an RB one according to the description: so it would need cuttin and re-jigging in the down pipe: probably affecting the tuned length a bit if a direct cut-shut-and-make-fit approach was taken....

I saw Simon just before Xmas and he was working on someone's scooter in his workshop then. I popped in on the off chance because I have a scooter I want dynoed. He said then that he was doing dyno runs, but I don't know about exhausts.

I spoke to Simon on the phone last week and he is in the middle of building a new house for himself, he has had to take time out from the scooter scene due to a number of personal reasons.

However he still plans to launch his new range of Lammy exhausts - but he states that he's looking at the end of this year at the earliest.

Anyone who knows Simon will testify to the quality of his workmanship, he spends a lot of time testing/dynoing his exhausts before getting them out on the market, and the build quality of his exhausts is second to none, I've had one of his Stealth's for near on 5 years now and have done thousands of miles on it, not a single problem and it still comes up like new with a coat of BBQ paint every season, simply put his exhausts are built like brick s**t houses...!!

BTW - the Stealth on fleabay is an RB pipe and as such it has been built to suit RB's/TS's cylinders.

Sorry for probably being dense yet again. But are you stating that the B-Race pipes are the same for RB and TS? Presumably then that the stub differs only between the two to accomodate the difference in the cylinder flangve angles between the two? The TS stub could therefore be convgerted to fit a standard cylinder.....The stub would therefore be the key to gvettingv this to fit non RB engvines....

PS. I vouch the quality of Simon's pipes and his service too (mine is a very early one a bit different to the e-pay one). Infact in one of our conversations I sugvgvested the name 'Stealth' which he took up. Sounds like Simon's circumstances are improvging a bit, which if I am not mistaken, I am glad to hear about.

All the best!

I've also got a H205, and have over a few years, had 3 different design B Race exhaust's on it.
(stealth type, DJ type and one like an under kickstart Fresco)
They are really well made, the thinkness of metal is noticeable above other exhausts.
Design on all very similar.
The stealth one in particular I ran for a season. Went really well. Especially at high revs.
Definitely had a differnet pitch to it.
Ended up going back to my trusty Micron as felt better for normal everyday use.

Although wish I'd kept the DJ style one, as was actually stamped up with Taffspeed logo, and loved the look of it !!
