ive just rebuilt engine on my px 125 with malossi kit, changed cruciform, selector rod , 1st and 2nd gears as they were battered also replaced clutch plates.
puit engine back in and every thing seemed fine, but ive noticed that the kickstart seems to stick/lock.
took flywheel side casing off to see if id not located kstart spring properly, looked to see if id put piston in wrong way up and checked rings , checked to see if exhaust was carboned up but all seems ok......... put electric start flywheel back on to see if this worked and again it seems to turn over one minute and not the next.
any advice welcome. :(

sometimes (mainly on 200 engines) you can wind the top right hand stud in too far, and it ends up just jamming the oil pump drive gear, therefore jamming the crank. as you've had the barrel off to fit the kit, I"d try winding that stud out a bit, or taking your clutch out to have a look. also, some smallblock kits need a shaving off the bottom fin where the flywheel meets the clutch, a little bit of grinding is needed.
