trailer advise for a vespa

Been asked to make a trailer hitch for a home brewed pav style trailer to fit on a P range after xmas, anyone done this and can share a few pics with me. just to complicate the issue the scoots got a back rack fitted as well to get in the way.

squire did a trailer for a px years ago that worked on a standard trailer ball/coupling type fitting - the ball part bolted inside the frame behind the number plate

it also had an extra leg off the frame that went up the lefthand side of the frame of the vespa, and attatched with 2 longer bolts through the voltage regulator holes, to spread the load a bit more. i had one knocking about the workshop for years, probly got binned .
