distance between top two studs on a T5 is approx 64mm measured at centers ,same for bottom two ,but the distance between top and bottom is approx 69mm .

I modified T5 casing for Runner Malossi 172 top end. Got some pics somewhere.
They're same stroke/rod length. Crank centre to head gasket face is same measurement.
AFAIK it never got built.

Looks like this one is a reasonably simple job compaird with some of the m/c conversions.
And can still get good power and torque !

The main thing that needed looking into was water inlet into bottom of barrel as it goes into crankcase on Runner.
Clutch wise Im a big fan of early 7 spring type.
Others may say its a waste of a T5 casing and a long stroke, T5 barreled engine is an easy 30 hp.

NGF kit came today from PSN £129.
Ports are a bit rough but not a problem.
Looks like I may need a 1.5mm/2mm head spacer to get the port timings
down to something usable for the road.
With a 57 crank and 115 rod im getting 137% on the transfers and 186 % on the exhaust.
137% a little to much i think ? Thinking more 130%/185%?
What do you think? Sean? Oz?
