cyclone 5 speed
Just noticed on the RLC site that they have batch 4 in now............with an uprated gear cluster made from the best steel available...........and its up to 820 euros now. Should i buy one now or wait for batch 5 , in case they uprate another component???

i have to run mine on the absolute minimum permissable gear oil to prevent oil blowing out the breather, this may exasibate the hot running, i suppose there is less space in the gearbox so the oil has to go somewhere and less oil = more heat? it definately is running hotter than the 4 speed version of the motor
I'd be checking that Dave .. sounds like theres excessive friction somewhere creating the heat ?

I've noticed oil around the breather on my scoot now. It never happened with my 4 speed. Is this something to worry about?
A mate of mine noticed this heat as well. He was using the gearbox in a very fast engine. No problems so far.dave wheeler wrote:has anyone else noticed the chaincase getting very hot with the cyclone box?
