Got a tank with plenty of good original paint still on it. Problem is that it has a few very small holes ( found so far) around petrol tap area and maybe a couple more underneath as well. Are there any epoxy type sealants that could be applied to the outside of the tank that will give an effective and lasting seal? I think the holes are probably too big for internal tank sealer that is meant for pinhole size leaks. Just be a shame to paint the tank again if I have to use heat. The scoot's too good to restore.
Thanks.
Petrol tank repair.

I used a product called Petroseal, bought from a motosave store.Sealed a hole on the underside of the tank, more than 2 years
ago and had no probs since. It is used on the outside of the tank, easy to use can be painted over if required.
