hi all

after some advise on jetting for 30mm pwk power jet

can seam to get jetting right running very rich

any adive on what jets to use would be a great help

i running a 198cc muggy with litghten fly wheel gp crank li150 gear box

if i cant get right gonna ditch it for a 30mm phph

my opinion would be to ditch it, call me old school if you like but always preffered dellies, ran a 26 on my 186 muggello no probs and running a 30mm on my imola, bang perfect, sorry for not being helpful,

I recon I going to the pwk didn't cost me anything so will probley get rid

What jets have you got in it and what about the needle and clip position?

Sometimes the Keihin copies can be hard to jet right because of poor quality needles and jets. Always try and use genuine Keihin versions if possible.

If you can get it set up correctly it SHOULD perform better than a correctly set up roundslide dellorto.

I couldn't get a 30mm PHBH to run correctly on my Imola even with a dyno, but a Mikuni TMX27 worked really well giving more power and better MPG.

BGM are probably the best quality of the Keihin copies, I'd speak to MB as they are the distributors in UK for BGM carbs.
