MK1 p2 speedo query

Hi got a spanish p200 1977, the type with the rally headset, fitted with p2 forks , just wondered what speedo cable to get as just tried a rally inner to match the speedo fixing but it seems too long for the outer . Will have to get a complete inner and outer but i;m unsure which type to get . Any info would be appreciated

Ive owned a 1980 150 version of that model and along with a Rally headset, it also had Rally forks (but with a PX type mudguard) and I seem to remember it used a Rally speedo cable. No idea if those are the same as early P Range ones with the screw fitting outer cable at the headset end.
There maybe someone who knows better but I'm pretty sure that yours should have Rally forks rather than P Range forks. If it hasn't, that maybe where the problem with fitment lies.

forks were a previous change made from the outdated rally ones, but i still need to know what cable i need as some spanish p2's do come with rally headset and p2 forks.Mk1 p2 speedo is a srew on top cable fitment but is it a broader thread than the rally?anyone

series 2 lambretta speedo cable maybe, someone must know? if not then just make up some forum based ill advice
