For the sake of 50 quid for a new 'un, why use a worn one?

Get rid.

Iv`e lost 2 rear hubs and I wouldn`t reccomend it to anyone. :o

You should check your layshaft splines too because if they look the same as this hub, you`ll knacker the new one simply by normal fitting.

Completely agree, that looks about 90% worn thru, £40 at restos, and definitely check the layshaft

ive had a couple of mates have real nasty accidents this year regarding rear hubs/layshafts going Bang, just change it mate, its only a few quid, and cheaper than a new paint job/helmet/ underpants etc.

OK thanks guys, the bin it is. Pity as the chromework is very good on it. I haven't used it so my layshaft is not a problem. I suppose it could make a nice door stop :D :D :D
