Define 'silly money'.
And 'more poke'.
Do you want more revs or more power and speed for same revs?

soz to disappoint you ,but an upgrade to a std 150 cc just is not gonna deliver you what you desire as regards your up hill requirements and your 65/70 mph cruising speed i,m afraid

Good Luck on that 65 MPH. Seriously. I've got some degree of work into mine and killed two DR kits. Got a Malossi 166 and well happy but there's no way I'm getting 65 out of it. Goes like stink to 55 though. As others have said, P2 lump and call it Macaroni.
cheap option=DR177 kit, standard pipe, 22 tooth clutch cog, up jet standard carb . gives more pull through the gears and a couple of more mph. to get a px125 to do 65-70mph, you need to port cases, modify crank, get yourself a nice exhaust, bigger carb, etc. like the old adage says, CHEAP/FAST/RELIABLE...pick any 2 from them 3 .

Buy a Forerunner GPs and you will realise that your 60 mph on the Vespa clock is a real 45MPH less uphill!!
Im still coming to terms with my 65MPH Malossi 166's and 210's .
Damm those Gps Gizmos !!
Neither pull GPS 65 up a hill- However the Diablo Moto Polini 220 does
(Get what you pay for I've learnt)
Goldeneye is wise beyond his youth !!
Is anything cheap ??
