I've a Polini venturi on my Polossi Engine.

Setup is;
PX200 engine ported for Alu Polini with Malossi piston
60mm crank adjusted for Polossi
Sip Road or PeP2
Dellorto SI24/24

Main Jet; 128

Works really well and I can sit at 60mph all day with my PAV towed as well...

I was thinking about this setup but was told by someone that had tried it that while the performance went up, the fuel consumption went through the roof. I settled on the SIP road by itself and got some useful grunt.

Polini is a waste of money on the cost and the higher fuel bills ,i had to go up to a 140 and just as well of drilled a hole in me tank .

Now i just use the filter which seems to give almost as good acceleration without the fuel bills

I tried it mate, got up to a145 main and it was still lean and it was eating fuel.
spoke to a couple of people, Diablo said he set one and went up above 160 on the main.
I've been thinking of just using the foam filter.
I don't think the gains justify the extra expense in fuel.
Might be ok with the polini alloy kit I reckon.

Andy i have a 210 kit and i can notice the difference using the polini filter ,but it does run hotter because of the lack of fresh air (which is why my panel is being worked on ) but i did find that i needed a standard filter frame fitted to stop any fuel spitting back
