just took top end of a m8s t5, polini barral, head standard no head gasket? shows signs of piston hitting it+ lump out of piston rings broke and siezed.

question 1 does the head need profiling

question 2 do you run a head gasket in this format

question 3 barral looks ok, cheapest fix (new piston and head sorting)

question 4 would you recomend a full engine strip

what do polini exactly recomend when using this kit ?

base gasket no head gasket profile head just been researching, ive got it to put back together just wonderd if i should strip the whole engine in case any bits of the ring has enterd or have head profiled and new piston

all sorted, person who built it put head on wrong way round as well causing more damage then just the head
