Can anyone recommend a decent 80 link chain for a 46/15 set up, just tried the so called best iwis 80 link, but found this to be very tight,so tight that upper chain guide (Tino Sacchi quick slip) had to be lowered so much it hit the crownwheel. So had a look at various posts on different forums, and this seems to be a common occurrence with these chains ! so now need to buy (or waste more money) on another chain that will hopefully do the one job it supposed to do !

I've found that the newer (thicker) tino, quick slip chain guide can hit the crownwheel on the bottom, at the rear of the top guide. If not it runs very close. If its the thicker, newer type it wont harm it by taking a mil of that area where it hits the teeth. Not hard to do either as its nylon.

All sprockets are aligned, and when i fitted the old chain to make sure the new crownwheel wasn't at fault, causing the iwis the chain to be so tight, i also noticed that the new quick slip chain guide was only 2mm from the crownwheel ! Buy quality, pay once !
