End plate problem
Hi I have a couple of end plate studs rung is there anything other then wielding and taping again any advice would be greatful

Got mine helicoiled, think £20 for 3, you can buy the kit to do it yourself but it's about £35, I've M6 kit, great job.
The studs are m7 /28mm should the helicoil not be m7

If you want a thread repair thats as strong as stuffing the hole with chewing gum and then winding a stud in, use a helicoil.
