End plate problem

Hi I have a couple of end plate studs rung is there anything other then wielding and taping again any advice would be greatful ;)

Got mine helicoiled, think £20 for 3, you can buy the kit to do it yourself but it's about £35, I've M6 kit, great job.

The studs are m7 /28mm should the helicoil not be m7

Like Sean said.
If you want a thread repair thats as strong as stuffing the hole with chewing gum and then winding a stud in, use a helicoil.

I saw beedspeed do a m8 step down to m7 in other words tap out to m8 has one used these before any good
