Inlet Manifolds

Hi all.
I am planning to add a phbl 25mm carburator to my S3 TV175 engine.
I have found 2 different manifolds. The harder one to get hold of is this one by MB:

It is out of stock from the regular places I order from.

Can I go with a larger inlet like these ones:

And just use a conversion rubber instead?

Or can I even use the mugello manifold on the standard Cylinder?

Hi
Have you tried Beedspeed? I fitted one to a mates Li that was fitted with an Ally 175 kit and they supplied the lot.

I was trying to avoid shipping over seas. Otherwise Beedspeed has been a main delivery partner for my restoration.

That is true and the prices are very cheap but be prepared to do a fair bit of fettling with the dremel, I must have spent a good hour on the one I bought for a 200/225 top end it wasn't even round

Why not port out the original manifold then use a manifold rubber for the 25 mm carb that doesn't have the locating rib in one end. That's how I did my Vega

I had to do that with the MB one as well. But I suppose there can be differences between the original 175 cylinder's regarding the fin layout?
