1.6 litres including 0.4 in reserve according to the workshop manual
the 0.4 will be when the sight glass starts to go clear as the oil is been used

was thinking of converting it to a spare petrol tank?

last one i had was a mikuni vacuum pump with a 28mm Dellorto
you drill a hole in the back of the casing and add a threaded BSP hose connector - connect this to top inlet on the pump with fuel line (the crankcase makes the pump work with the crank rotation) then connect tank to inlet and outlet to carb
no electrics or anything very simple and effective - mine was bolted to the frame under the panel
not sure how it would work with a standard carb as never attempted it
I used a DF44-211
