Hi all, have just stripped my crank to do the bearings and found this........

Is it important...... And does it need to be fixed?

It's a small piece of the case where the crank webs sit.

I've been running a scoot for about 3 1/5 years, done just short of 9k miles (wish it was more :( ), with the following mods to my casing (its something was shown by Dan on here many moons ago) scoot runs Ok, I'd just tidy the damage up and refit cylinder :)

Still working on the same issue.... Bearings r shot on both sides of the casing and causing movement. I/We think that is causing the misfiring on the ignition.
