I looked into it, got hold of a shagged cylinder and I have a set of T5 casings ready and waiting.
When I did the PTS1E, I used a 120mm con-rod and had to take 7mm off the bottom of the TS barrel.
Due to the inlet port on the RB, is isn't possible to take 7mm off the bottom.
I looked around for a longer (125mm+) rod but couldn't find one, so gave up on the idea.

there are some 125mm + rods ive found or a different piston crown height could help you achieve the build

Would be interested in the long rod rather than 'long' piston route.
Won't ask you to tell me what the long rod is from, but how much you would supply one?
Looking at starting a project in the new year. Got a garage full of Vespas, and havn't built anything new for 6 years!

I take it it was a rotax rod you used ?
could you go up to a 24mm pin and use a steped pin 22mm-24mm?
Like martin is using on my 68mm stroke Lamby crank .
i have a horrible feeling.things are going to go bang
