what a shame

i can give you an advice on how to repair a casing with tooth-past but not sure it's a good one...
I would just grind it back so there is less chance of a piece braking away.
Will do a picture with some marks where i intend to grind it, you'll tell me if it's enough or too much ok?
Cheers.

a casing i have has a section there removed, obviously someone previously has had to lever out the seal plate.

Just to avoid any confusion, that is "drive" side not "mag" side isn't it?

Nothing to worry about, it's just a thin part of the case that won't prove a problem.

Eden, is it enough?
Or do i go further in grinding 'till the black line (just to remove the mark in casing still visible)?
Cheers for all your quick advices.
