pinking
Hey all , my mates vespa px (DR180 KIT,24mm SI carb, simminini )had a little sieze the other day , so after taking the top end off for inspection showed light scorch marks, nothing major,cleaned up ok , but now theres a pinking noise coming from it ? any ideas whats causing this ? could it be the timing as this was never changed from standard ???

Yes it could be ,i don't know what the timing should be for that kit but i would guess it would need retarding a bit..also it siezed for a reason so is the jetting right, is there an airleak , few things to check.
