Right winter is around the corner and the nights a drawing in, I've been for a fee evening ride and I've found my Speedo light to be brighter than my headlight!!

So what can I do to improve my headlights power? I've put an LED bulb in the rear light, but what's the best halogen conversion for a lambretta out there?

Thanks

What's your current set up?

The simplest way to make your headlight brighter than your speedo one is to remove the speedo light.

Haha, that's one way around it!

BGM regulator and BGM stator with a bog standard headlight set up.

You lights should be perfectly good if all is well elsewhere. Providing the BGM stuff is working correctly then I'd consider fault finding other elements of the lighting system. First one to check is that you've got the tail light wired up correctly as you'll lose much of your headlight power if the wrong filament (brake light) is constantly lit when the lights are on. Could also be a poor earth, etc.

A knackered reflector in the headlight will lose a lot of power too.
