Im looking for a good quality crank for my rb20 (58 stroke 116 rod) so far the best i can find are beedpeeds for £174 these are MEc Ur and may or may not have had extra work done to them, they mention special polished rods but not where they are from ( jap, indian italian?). Can any one answer the questions about the Beedspeed crank. Are there any other options out there for simailar money, or any one that builds them to order for £200 or under?

Thanks

I think Glasgow lambretta had the black MEC cranks for about £90, you can also get a similar one from PM. The evolution / top racing hpc ones are around the one on beedspeed site for 174

The one on the beedspeed site is the top racing evolution crank

http://beedspeed.com/product_info.php?products_id=8540

Is similar to the bgm with balancing and full circle webs and is the same a stone tino crank

The PM Xtech is a rebadged meceur black crank

http://www.pmtuning.co.uk/brand/pmtunin ... gp200.html

Same as this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lambretta-GP- ... _500wt_689

The AF RB crank is dinged for he kit

http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?p ... buteID=CRR

This ones a little cheaper with the posh rod

http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?p ... buteID=CRR

Same crank cheaper still

http://www.scooterrestorations.com/lamb ... k-italian/

Lots of choice out there most are conventional rod length though , it pays to shop around, your choices may be limited for a 116 rod

If the "blurb" says 116 rod then it won't be a Jap rod, Yam rods that are suitable donor items are 115 mm.

Just remember that most RB200 motors produce 24+bhp so a good big end bearing is required!

I have decided to go with the BGM balanced crank as iv now got the funds sorted but im buggered if i can now find it. Im sure when i last looked a couple of months ago it was £240 now the cheapest i can find seem to be £300 plus

Cant even find a 58 let alone 116 rod...anyone point me in the right direction, its the one that had a small blurb in scootering a couple of issues back.

Thanks

May well do that with the crank I have, thanks for that. think I will still go for the BGM one though and keep the other for a spare.
Can only seem to find ones with 110 rods, is there a way of packing it out so it will work on RB set up?
