Hi, can anyone help with this problem please?
My PX has this anoying habit of intermitently refusing to go into 3rd gear. If i don't pull the clutch in and just crash it into gear it's ok.
If i use brute force, it lands into 4th, and then i can change back into 3rd. This only happens every now and then, not all the time. Sometimes it appears that the revs need to be right?
This has a T5 4th gear, and the Cosa clutch was fitted 500 miles ago.
Any help or suggestions greatly received, many thanks

as its a new-ish clutch, i"d be looking at that first. ive stopped using Cosa clutches , and now use old style 3 plate P200 clutches. cheaper and a lot less hassle. fit a nylon lined cable and they are just as easy to pull as a cosa.

Cheers Goldeneye,
I'll look at this area first.
Any tell tale signs? ie warped plates etc?
Cheers

had this problem last year and it was wear, you need to check the shim clearance at end of driveshaft. have it too loose and gears can rattle , in my case i had to use a larger shim to correct clearance, problem solved..
