hi,
Wondering if anyone could post a pick of how they mounted the magnet and pick up to get the sip digital speedo to work. I,ve got an early scootrs outboarddisk and its never been accutrate. The worm gear is a mess and they have changed the design. Just got did for speedingfor second time this summer, price of the fines way more than a new digital speedo. Want to be sure i can mountit before ordering.

Tx in advance
David

If you look here you'll find all the stuff you need to use a pick up on a SIP speedo. :D

There was a feature on these speedos in Scootering a couple of months ago with a picture of the sensor fitted to a Lambretta.

This is how I've just mounted mine.
With the active pickup you don't need to use a magnet (so I'm told)
A couple of pics of the bracket I made up to hold the sensor for my new SIP speedo.
I decided to "pick up" from the studs on the rear hub and I'm quite happy with how the bracket looks.
I've just got to drill and tap for a couple of grub screws and give it it's final polish and it will be finished, just hope it all works ok!
