how long will it last???

I had a little seize on my RB and as a result it has fetched some of the nikasil off the bore of the barrel . I have put another piston in and it runs ok . Just wondered if any one else has done this and what do you think my chances are of it lasting. The damage is on the in let side of the piston just below the bottom ring . thanks

if the nicasil is dammaged your new piston will soon go the same way as the old one
