Is there some sort of adapter required with the sip rims /valves as the petrol station air pumps don't seem to work with them (I had to take them to a tyre place to get some air in them)

By the way they are easy to fit tyres to (after watching the vid on the sip site, I did both in half an hour) :D

you could use one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/90-Degree-Schra ... 736&sr=8-3
i have; just screw it onto your tyre valve inflate then remove and keep it tucked away somewhere safe till next its needed; works for me, :)

muppet,
Ahh, I found one of those laying on the floor near a forecourt airline, didn't know what it was for but chucked it in the toolbox (unmanned self serv garage) nevertheless. New it would come in handy :fb:

is anyone else having trouble getting air into their sip tubeless lambretta rims?
i just wasted 4 quid on the above adapter and it bottoms out before it completely releases the valve.... ending up losing air..
