vespa t5 cosa clutch

hi i have been looking at putting a cosa clutch on my t5 but when i read the description about the clutch it says i need to modify the clutch casing to stop the clutch fouling on it , does anyone know what this modification is? cheers

When the cover is off you will see a couple of ribs about 12 o/clock,these need grinding down.

gadge, to elliminate any problems people say they've had is to file the turrets to 22mm deep, where the tangs of the clutch plates slide

I doubt you'll have to modify the clutch cover on a T5 engine to fit a cosa clutch . I'm almost certain that the T5 clutch cover is the same as a 200 one .

the cover will have "200" stamped inside . its only early p/px 125"s that have the ribs inside.
