Hoping that some one can advise me on my T5.

I have a 192 kit on it and she goes through the gears fine. When I am reaching top speed, 55-60mph I think I can get more out of it or should be able to!

I have a standard T5 carb fitted, can any recommend a diffent carb to enhance preformance?

I also have a cheap performance exhast, which exit on the left, spare wheel side and is a right pain if you have to change the back wheel as I have to partly remove the exhust! Can anyone recommend a performance exhust that, prefered to exit on the right, that would complement the 192 kit.

Any advise would be welcomed.

do you mean a Malossi 172 kit? if so, theres something wrong somewhere, it should go off the clock!. sito plus is good for cheapness, or the JL style righthand pipe is good. upgear by fitting a 21 tooth clutch cog, you could keep your 24mm carb, nowt wrong with it, or put a 28mm dellorto on it, but you"d loose the autolube. the best thing i recommend for the kit is the S.I.P. cylinder head with the "o" ring seal, its a bit pricey, but really good quality, bigger/fatter fins to aid cooling. 55-60 is easily achievable by a standard T5 , so it needs looking at.

just put a JL right hand pipe on a lads malossi T5 this morning, he"s well pleased. as always, it went on really easily, never had one ive had to alter to fit. only thing is, get the mild steel one, not the stainless version, they crack along the welds sometimes. great pipe. pay the extra money and get a proper JL.
