Vespa T5 square headset swop for round? can it be done?

Hi, my mate had a T5 square headset model and wants to replace it with a round headset. Does anybody know if it can be done and does it have to be the T5 round headset model type only? I don't know as I have Lambrettas so said I'd ask you brainy lot

Any advice would be appreciated.

no they clamp on differently a new set of forks would be needed

dont take this the wrong way but a squaretail with a classic headlight will look strange......IMO

it will have to be a change of forks.im sure wiring is different aswell
or
why not advertise a swap for a T5 classic?theres a lad on a few other forums with a classic to swap for a squaretail
