Morning all,
I'm looking for info on setting one of these carbs up on a Rapido 225.
Can I use a standard throttle cable with it and what choke cable would you recommend?
Cheers.

I'd think you'll need to replace both throttle and choke cable to use this carb.
The throttle cable on a standard carb often has a solderless nipple at the carb end. For the Amal you need a small fixed nipple which clips into the slide. You then put the solderless one in the headset pulley.
The choke will be similar in arrangement at the carb but you'll probably need a special cable.
I'm going to be using a mk2 on my Rapido suggested jetting by AF was
Pilot. 30 -35
Choke 50 - 60
Needle 107
Main 320 - 340
Slide 3.5
Not sure how that will translate to mk1 but hope that helps.

Martin/Knowledge is your man for a choke cable, he's done a Mikuni and a Dellorto for me in the past.Pm him on here or the LCGB site.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
