Excuse the long explanation but its a long story ..anyone have any ideas

Scoot wasnt pulling underload.. 4th was next to usless - unless downhill... last week had to go up mild gradient in 2nd... as just stopped pulling in anything else.
Checked top end and ring/piston gap etc.. was at or above limits so put on new cylinder kit (ally 200 conv)..Carb could be worn.. so replaced.. ripped old stator out & replaced with BGM..all fitted ok but still shite, cleaned Acilloti exhaust (caustic Soda) and replaced.. still shite... so put back my old DJ with big(ish) improvement.. initial pullaway is sweet untill what seems just off pilot.. then bogs down unless plenty revs given then it picks up.. does this in each gear...

Once scoot picks up it starts to bog down unless revs are adusted and increased again

Only thing yet not changed are seals.. so possibly this is where the issue is ?.. not clouds of smoke or stinkin..
only asking before I rip it all apart

200 cyl
DL 125 gearbox (17 x 46)
DJ pipe (original)

Also, keep the green from the stator plugged in at the CDI but unplug the 2nd green, which comes from the loom. By doing this you will take a faulty ignition switch or other potential loom related issue out of the equation.

Also, what happens if you leave the choke on, better or worse?

Forgot to add that I did change the CDI when I changed the stator.. will change the HT lead & plug cap.. will be more relief that gutted if it turns out to be something as simple ..might add also that the plug is quite sooty even after leaning off Pilot and main

***Update***
after a complete engine rebuild with all new parts etc.. it appeared to run ok for a bit.. then the same symptoms began.. pulled into a station to fill up and decided to change the tissue i had in the petrol well to soak up excess drips and spills.. no tissue in the dispenser so I left without it...
Now runs a treat.. no gurgling spluttering or such like ... near to £1K on rebuild .. only to be foiled by a tuppence tissue blocking the breather hole in the tap..

Have you tried Adams suggestion , remove Green from Loom from the CDI this bypasses the ignition switch, a mate of mine had similar when he got water in his ignition causing similar problems
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"
