reverse pull drum brake : good or not ?

hows a reverse pull drum brake ?
any better ?
risk in locking / rubbing ?

Have done a few reverse pulls on drum brakes.....they work but can be a little sharp......If you decide to do a reverse pull, its best to make sure there is a good chamfer on the brake shoe leading edges as this can reduce the tendancy for the brake to snatch on....

Not recomended! Unless you want to lock up the front end flip over the top and suffer serious damage to yourself and scoot! :o

Ive just done one and to be honest its not that much better, shorter cable though so maybe less stretch, not rearly worth the effort IMO.

if you have a spare clutch arm it can be straightened somewhat and used as a front brake arm, it just gives you more leverage, no doubt alot on here wont like the idea just as the reverse pull is dodgy
