try one of the terminals on your coil i think ive got mine wired off the red wire thats on my 450 motor mind and works fine if you read the pamphlet that comes with the vapour it gives you diagrams to wire it up this way hope this helps regards gavi 8-)

i think the ht lead maybe too insulated, and i cant get it to read off the cdi, someone must be on here that has set one up on a lammie ????? or that ive run the sensor wire for the rev counter in with loom

Sounds strange, I got mine working easily, U sure u havent mixed up the plug in sockets??? I know 2 are the same cant remember which ones they are tho. I wrapped mine round the ht lead near the coil about 5 or six times worked first time.

I did get a problem with the display staying on tho it shud go off after 5 minutes if it doesnt sense the front wheel moving, after a bit of investigation I discovered that if u park the scoot up and the magnet and sensor are in line it doesnt switch off the display, something to check then when parking up.
