series 2 legshield lower brackets

Hi,I have an Italian LI series 2 that I'm doing up its got Spanish legshields on it but these legshields don't have the lower brackets on them to fix on the Italian front mudguard ,does anyone re-make these brackets so I can rivet them to the legshields ,some clever sods painted the leggies without noticing

i suggested to someone before on here who had the same prob to weld a captive nut to a small strip of steel plate then bolt this to the leggies and hide behind the runner strip

I`ve just taken a pair off italian leggies to go spanish stylee so have some too if anyone else is stuck
