I've got a problem with the fuel flow rate on my GP

From the tap it's fine, over 400ml a minute.

But when I take bottom of the carb off, the flow rate is 200ml a minute.

Just to add:

This is with the in-line filter taken off and a very clean carb.

Have you checked the float valve is clear and the filter in the carb if it has one. If it's a PHBH the siize of the float valve is important, post up what you have and someone more knowledgable will tell you if its big enough 8-)

Thanks Colin. The valve was a 200. With advice from Jarv, I've tried a 300 and it improved the flow to 300ml a minute. I don't have a bigger size to use til the end of next week.
