Welding On a New Cross Member

Hi All.
I there a preferred method to keep a lambretta upright during the welding of a new cross member to the frame?
I don’t think the wife will enjoy sitting on the scoot during the procedure.

2 axle stands across either side the front frame strut

Thanks Dean, I will give it a try, I assume its good method in a 5.5 aftershock , had 14 f@@kers here yesterday.

Yes mate you go for it,don't forget to hang the leggies on and rear footboards to make sure it all lines up before you weld in place
