i've been thinking of putting a 42mm or a 48mm VW clubman on my TS1 200,
has anyone else tried it,are they any good, does anyone sell them with TS1 flange or would i have to get one welded on?

i ran an mbd clubman on a ts1 225 for a number of years. 18.5 bhp on taffspeeds dyno so about 4/5 down on a expansion but still ok in my opinion.

i liked the fact that my otherwise standard looking s1 would p155 all over slower scoots covered in "race" stripes and bolt on tackerama.

i would have thought a vw version would be better still.

that one looks like a converted af/indian pipe. cambridge lambretta used to sell them for ts1 imola. not with the vw pipe though.
