Dev Tour - what gearing?
Had planned to use a Saigon Taffy to pull LI125S 19/46. But got hold of a Dev Tour instead. I know they're more aimed at mid range but had hoped they can pull 4.8 with luggage. It's a piston port long stroke engine.

I found 5.0 works well, 4.8 was a bit tall on mine riding solo.

My gearing at 5.0 as I await delivery of my Dev - Tour.
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"
my reworked v1 muggy 225 std stroke pulls 4.8 with a devtour and acording to rev counter tops out about 8000 in 4th
pulls ok 1 up with luggage long hills require changing down
tried this after mk4 taffy that realy pulled, accelerated up hill in 4th but limited top end to 7000 rpm I wanted just a bit more top end for motorway use , trouble is now at 7000 rpm it stops vibrating and becomes silky smooth all very scary
hope this helps

^^ Yes I like the sound of that...your engine must reach nirvana, enlightenment and inner peace at 7K then haha!
I asked Mark on his FB page what gearing he recommended and he suggested something a little lower and to let the engine work a bit more. I have a rev counter fitted and will be interested to see what it will rev onto. I liked his description of it being tractable, torquey and geared correctly having auto characteristics in 4th; where you can wind on from quite low speeds and build and build.
