Lived in boro just about all my life!!! Just a great place. Everything you could possibly want in a ten mile radius. ;) whenever I'm away I look forward to coming home.

Scooter looks like you have virtually every conceivable monitoring sensor available. How can you see the digital displays with all of the vibration of a tuned lambretta? I love gadgets me! :D

Interesting to know the spec! Is it liquid cooled? Has Scotty done all of the engine build?

I'd love to see this scoot if you're in Teesside. I live in Stockton on Tees nowadays.

Cheers. Craig.

The instruments are now digital because most analogue ones are sensitive to vibration - They vibrate to bits and their accuracy is debatable

Engine wise it was originally one of Dave"s masterpieces "Madness" he did it from scratch about 10yrs ago" ~ Quality ~
It was very revvy and not practical around town ~ So Darren suggested a bit of detuning ~ It now as one of his own design ts1 barrel sleeves fitted ~There are 2 of these Wendy Katrim of dsc as the other ~ Superb
Extra porting - block and reed mods by myself ~ Been playing about with endcans-mufflers etc ~ using the on-board gadgets (EGT-CHT-AFR) readable wihout switching modes and the most important > seat of the pants feeling
The jl3 system now will rev further ~ Sits steady @ 75 under 7000rpm and will pull strong from there ~ Hills and winds not a prob
Other instruments are digital rev - clock - voltage - speedo - engine run time all working individual so everything can be monitered without taking your hands off the bars
Fully dc - front halogen 65/55 - fog/driving lamps - twin fiamme horns (ex police bmw)
Not Water-Cooled
The under-body scoop - Holes in the splash guard and the altered fan cowl are not just cosmetic
These are tried and tested ~ all contributing to extra cooling ~ Which lambretta"s don"t score high on

There are lots of other mods but these make the bike "mine"
The frame is ex-Darren Hardwicks (Af race team) ~ Re-jigged and strengthened

This lambretta is used 12 months of the year come rain or shine - same paintwork and chrome for the last 8 yrs
Proof of the Workmanship and Skill of Darren - Dave - Mr X the Sprayer & Cleveland Chroming

The real gem is Kirk"s S2 tv in the same pictures ~ They are only original once and this one is ~ Kirk has spent hours on the paintwork bringing it back to life without having it sprayed
