clutch arm length

i have spanish SX casings and just put a AF clutch in and it feels like it wont disengage all the way when the clutch is pulled in...

i have adjusted it correctly but is their a difference in clutch arm length from a SX to a GP ???

help me get this guy back on the road please :)

no ..but a shortend arm will pull more for less travel ...just be a touch harder to pull lever in

have you fitted gp side case at all ??

I have the sx side casing would a gp side casing change how the clutch would work ?

you dont say what af clutch you are using if it has a gp type centre or the new cassette type it will not work with a sx / li type case

I bought the gp style one ...

So I have to replace The whole side casing? Or just the clutch actuating arm?

as the sx type clutch center has a pin and thimble fitting the gp type will then place it to far away from the pawl in the side case ,a gp side case has a bronze pad that fitts into a casting which is not present on the sx/li type so yes you do need a gp side case
