Picked this up in a box of bits in 94 for £150 and the engine was already tuned by a kin top tuner in Oxford known as Big Dad or by others as The gay monk. Its an ET3 topend ported to fuk and crank cut.26mm carb, copy of a Taff snail and total loss ignition. It turned out to be a genuine 90 racer and stamped V9SS2.Oh well.Never really setup properly but would still do the 1/4 in just over 17 sec and 72mph.
The white rally in the garage is another gay monk motor,it was the old scooter scene project malossi and did a 15.6 at 80mph,that was built in 1987.

The motor is a bit like Triggers broom, yeh its still going but has had new casings and a new topend ;)
It was a work of art though, just perfect. The pipe was hand built. It revved well but just still pulled like mad in each gear, the reed was off a TZ750 i think and it covered both sides of the casings. This guy also did a mates T5 still using the 125 topend and it revved to 10,100rpm in 4th :o Aint got a T5 gearing calculator to hand but im sure others can work out the mph and still had the standard T5 carb.
