Fitting a BGM P200 Cylinder to a mates P2 Disc, all going well until I slid the cylinder over the piston and studs the cylinder bottoms out against the electric start flywheel teeth!!! about 5mm short of the engine casing, I had a look on KSC website but it doesn't mention the cylinders won't fit electric start models without modification, so what do I do ? get my mate to send the cylinder back and get a genuine one or do I grind the fin off and mess about til I get it right ?? getting tired of making scooter parts fit now

grind the fin off. a lot of kits , DR especially, need a fin grinding off to fit. its just that they were designed when vespas didnt have electric start. its not a big job, just be careful with the grinder.
