I have recently gone DC on my full frame GP as per the conversion pioneered by some of the guys on here.
i want to use the BGM regulator/rectifier that i now have spare on my cutdown (untill i can afford to go full DC again ) can i use the DC output on this reg to run my brake light and Horn ? if so , how do i "wire" it in ?.
Im using a simplyfied loom that has 3 wires all joined together with one spade connector that connects to the existing regulator. these are pink (brake light) brown (horn) and a purple that goes to head set.
is it just a case of seperating the purple and brown and plugging these into the BGM DC output ?
Any help would be welcomed.

I think that will work, use a battery charger connected to your loom wires to check. But you will need a battery as I think the output from the BGM unit is only meant for trickle charging :?

Yep as far as im aware all regulators with the dc output are only for trickle charging batts, not for running 12v items like lights etc.
