Just arrived today - the new Polini 210cc alloy cylinder!!!!!!!

We all love the torque and power of the old Polini - this characteristics combined with much better heat dissipation will make this cylinder with much better cooling a winner!

today we had the new Polini 210 barrel dyno tested here at Scooter Center.

it was a direct replacement for the standard barrel. with 57 mm crank, SI24 carb and the SIP road exhaust (similar to a Lambretta Clubman exhaust).

this really transformed the engine to a better one for nice touring speed and lots of grunt thru the rev range.

Even if the weather is s**t in the moment, there are bright and shining news.

Just arrived the new fully adjustable suspension BGM PRO SC/ for Vespa V-series, V50, Primavera, ET3 and P-range PX, T5. Rally and similar!!!!!!!

Don`t ask!

After the successful BGM front dampers for the Vespa Rally series, and the BGM front and rear suspension for the Lambretta, which can be classed as reference for other products, we drew our attention to the Vespa.

The main job of a good suspension is to keep the tyres in contact with the tarmac under all circumstances. Many Vespa-owners know the problems of bottoming out of the front suspension while braking, or a jumping rear of the scooter, when the limits of suspension travel are reached.

The bound and rebound damping can be adjusted with 12 or 16 clicks by hand, and the compression ratio of the spring can be free adjusted to suit.
There are other adjustable Vespa shocks at the market as well, but the BGM shocks are superior in one way.
The keyword is reaction time. Using high class materials and treatment to the surfaces these shocks react much faster to any influences than rival products. The 13.5mm Rod and progressive spring instantly show the durability of this concept.

After day to day use, some rounds on the race track in the ESC class, a salty winter, we still try to brake the BGM Pro Shocks !

A free weekend, what a good time to give them another long distance test. 1500km from Cologne to Bavaria to the famous, traditional Pfarrkirchen Rally.
Result - Trophy, furthest ridden !

They still look fresh, and perform like on the first day. On long distance running ( 10 hours one ride) you really realize the difference in comfort between these high tech shocks and standard material.

I guess some will say, that it won´t be a problem on a Lambretta, as you would reach your destination quicker......

There are these „normal“ parts like tyres and other things, and from time to time you come across parts, which stand out from the crowd.
For a long time, there was only one floorboard available for the Pre P-range so called wideframe scooters. It was O.K. to use those. Better than building one from scratch. We just got from Italy these wonderful floor boards which are specifically build for the different models.
No more time or money consuming extensive reworking is necessary with these floorboards.
The height and form of the beading are like the original, as is the hole for the cable routing and other details, which support a perfect restoration result.
No filler is used, which could hide dents or imperfections. Real quality products for a perfect restoration job. So if you already plan to bring a Vespa back to live this autumn or winter have a look!

Floor board -VESPA- Vespa VNB4T (since no. 0110644), VNB4T till VNB6T, VBB2T

Floor board -VESPA- Vespa VNA1T till VNA2T, VNB1T bis VNB3T, VNB4T (till no. 0110643), VBA1T, VBB1T

Floor board -VESPA- Vespa Super, GT, GTR, GL, Sprint, TS, SS 180, Rally

And then we found this unbelievable speedo faces in Italy! These are the real items on the pictures not graphics. The quality is really excellent, and they will look great on any restoration. Perfect fit and quality manufactured, they are superior to other repros on the market.

O.K. Frank, I`ll tell you, but just if you don`t tell it to anybody else!

He is one of the good souls of the scooter center, and he loves them because they are so lightweight, that the buddies who have to pull the packages, suffer less..... ;)
