Anywhere convenient for adjustment but probably a good idea to keep the wiring runs reasonably short. I have my Augusto bolted to kickstart side frame strut.

Have mine fixed onto frame strut too, left side. Easy access to adjust it if you need.

have mine bolted to the underneath of my rear sprint rack, hidden away and bang next to coi,l ala scooter loopy johns bracket,,,,sweet
