lammy prob help plz

took me lammy out yesturday an it seemed to be holding back an the same today it just didnt feel rite then it wouldnt start altogether an found that my woodruff key had sheared so replaced it an bingo it started took it out for another run an symtoms have seemed to off gotten worse spluttering an banging an dieing out got it home an it was sitting ticking over ok revved it an it seemed ok anybody got any ideas , throttle slide seems pretty worn on my 30mil delly would that cause anything like this

the flywheel has probobly hit the pick up and either damaged it or knocked it so its not firing when it should, try another stator if u have one!!

yeah the pickup has some damage will change it when i get one thanks

put new pickup on today everything seemed fine till i hit the carriageway an the prob come back took it home took panels off popped the green ignition wire off an took it for another spin an prob has seemed to of went away not sure if that was down to riding without panels or the ignition wire so looks like tomoro i will have to go from one to the other to see which it is

If you've popped the green off, you've isolated the ignition switch as the green earths the ignition to stop the scoot. Could be a dodgy switch (not uncommon)

Have you ridden it in bad weather as Water gets into the ignition sometimes causing problems :evil:

took it for a spin today with panels on an green wire out an was still doing it think ive it sorted now tho upped the needle clip to the top clip an it seems to be ok now think it was running to rich, at the min carb has an av266 , x7 now top clip , 55 idle , main is now a 115 which its running ok on i have a new 40 slide coming as mine looks pretty worn and an x13 needle also an av264 thanks tho to those above for advise
