Stud washers

Anyone care to reccomend the best washers for the chaincase studs. I have oil leaking out a couple of the stud holes so need to get them as sealed as poss. dont have to much thread so nothing to thick.

The standard wavy washer are the thinnest I've seen, but I'd say your problem extends further than the washers if your threads are stripped.

yes^
you shouldn't be relying on washers to seal the casing.
clean the faces and use a decent gasket, greased before fitting

ideally id like to get both faces milled properley as they are a bit manky.... :(
