Helping my friend with his S3 LI on the weekend (125, 22mm carb, standard exhaust...), all seems very standard.

It starts after few kicks, doesnt idle at all, after a while the revs rise fast when in neutral at lights etc. making it unridable.

We are just after a few pointers of whats worth checking over before we start and suggestions as to what the cause may be.

cheers

Sticking throttle cable maybe. Replacing the cable will be a cheap DIY to rule that out.
